Another local area well worth exploring is Lake Macquarie – Australia’s largest coastal saltwater lake. Here you can try out Warners Bay, Swansea Channel or Nord’s Wharf, Marmong Point and so much more.

Upper Hunter
The Upper Hunter may be inland, but it is still home to some beautiful lakes and rivers. For example, Lake Glenbawn and Lake St. Clair – both popular destinations for boats and water sports alike.
